SHORT DESCRIPTION: Resource Entity IROL Communication
INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT-registered Resource Entities (REs) and NERC-registered Generator Owners (GOs)

LONG DESCRIPTION: In accordance with North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Reliability Standard FAC-014-3 Requirement R5, Part 5.6, ERCOT hereby provides notice that it has posted a list of Facilities that have been identified as critical to the derivation of an Interconnection Reliability Operating Limit (IROL) and its associated critical contingencies to the Market Information System (MIS) Certified Area for each impacted RE.
If none of an RE’s Facilities have been identified as critical to the derivation of an IROL or its associated critical contingencies, a posting indicating that fact has been made to the MIS Certified Area for that RE.
ACTION REQUIRED: Each RE is required to retrieve the list of its IROL-related Facilities, if any, from the MIS.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This Market Notice has also been issued to compliance contacts for all NERC-registered GOs.
Information regarding which, if any, of an RE's Facilities have been identified as critical to the derivation of an IROL and its associated critical contingencies can be found on the ERCOT MIS Certified area in the Resource Entity IROL Communication report (EMIL ID: NP12-315-M | Report ID 24195). This information can be used as the official identification of each RE's IROL-related Facilities, which may impact the RE's identification of IROL-related assets under its NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) program. Please refer to CIP-002-5.1a, Requirement R1 and Attachment 1, sections 2.6 and 2.9.
