SHORT DESCRIPTION: Update - Planned Maintenance Outage - Wide Area Network (WAN)

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All ERCOT WAN Participants (QSEs and TSPs)

DAYS AFFECTED: Tuesday September 17 2019, 08:00 - 10:00

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT will upgrade its Wide Area Network (WAN) service at both its Bastrop, TX facility and Taylor, TX facility on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 08:00 – 10:00.  During the maintenance window the following systems are impacted:

  • ICCP (Telemetry data) out of Bastrop will be unavailable but redundancy is available in Taylor.  After work is completed in Bastrop, ICCP will be available in Bastrop but Taylor will be unavailable.
