SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Notification of Change of Generation Resource Designation for City of Garland (RE) – SPNCER_SPNCE_4 and SPNCER_SPNCE_5

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  October 11, 2021

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On September 22, 2021, ERCOT received Notification of Change of Generation Resource Designation forms (NCGRDs) for the following Generation Resources:

• City of Garland (RE) - SPNCER_SPNCE_4
• City of Garland (RE) - SPNCER_SPNCE_5

The NCGRDs state that these Generation Resources, which are currently under a seasonal mothball status, will change their Generation Resource designation to operational (i.e., return to year round service) as of October 11, 2021.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Pursuant to ERCOT Protocols Section 3.14.1.9(2), ERCOT has posted the notifications in the “Notice of Change of Generation Resource Designation” (EMIL ID NP3-471-M, Report ID 13062) on the Generation page of the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area.  An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS.
