SHORT DESCRIPTION: Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for City of Austin dba Austin Energy (DECKER_DPG2)

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: Comments due by November 22, 2021

LONG DESCRIPTION: On November 1, 2021, ERCOT received a NSO for the following Resource:

• City of Austin dba Austin Energy - DECKER_DPG2
  
  

The NSO indicates that the Resource will be decommissioned and retired permanently as of March 31, 2022. The NSO further indicates that the Resource has a summer Seasonal Net Max Sustainable Rating of 420 MW, and a summer Seasonal Net Minimum Sustainable Rating of 50 MW.  A copy of the NSO is posted under the Grid/Generation section on the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area.  An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS Secure Area.  

ACTION REQUIRED: Please send any comments you may have regarding the NSO to RMRcomments@ercot.com, with “City of Austin dba Austin Energy (DECKER_DPG2) NSO” in the subject line.  Comments are due no later than November 22, 2021.  All comments will be posted to the Generation page of the MIS Secure Area.
