SHORT DESCRIPTION: Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for Air Liquide Large Industries US LP (BYU_BYU_G8)

DAY AFFECTED: Comments Due February 17, 2025

LONG DESCRIPTION: On January 27, 2025, ERCOT received a NSO for the following Generation Resource:

• Air Liquide Large Industries US LP (BYU_BYU_G8)

The NSO indicates that on November 1, 2019, the Generation Resource experienced a Forced Outage. As a result of the Forced Outage, the Resource Entity intends to indefinitely suspend operation of the Generation Resource. The NSO further indicates that the Generation Resource has a summer Seasonal Net Max Sustainable Rating of 4 MW and a summer Seasonal Net Minimum Sustainable Rating of 1 MW. 

Pursuant to ERCOT Protocol section 3.14.1.2(1), a copy of the NSO is posted on the ERCOT website at the ERCOT Market Information List (EMIL) webpage, where Notice of Suspension of Operations may be accessed. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Please send any comments you may have regarding the NSO to RMRcomments@ercot.com, with “Air Liquide Large Industries US LP (BYU_BYU_G8) NSO” in the subject line.  Comments are due no later than February 17, 2025.  All comments will be posted to the Generation page of the MIS Secure Area.
