SHORT DESCRIPTION: Notification of Change of Generation Resource Designation (NCGRD) for NRG Texas Power LLC - TOSBATT_UNIT1

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED: November 1, 2024

LONG DESCRIPTION: On July 19, 2024, ERCOT received an NCGRD for the following Generation Resource:

• NRG Texas Power LLC - TOSBATT_UNIT1

The NCGRD indicates that as of November 1, 2024, the Generation Resource, which is currently mothballed, will be decommissioned and retired permanently.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to ERCOT Protocols Section 3.14.1.9(2), ERCOT has posted the notification in the list titled “Notice of Change of Generation Resource Designation” on the Generation page of the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area.  An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS.
