SHORT DESCRIPTION: Request for Proposal for Firm Fuel Supply Service for the Contact Term of November 15, 2024, through March 15, 2025

INTENDED AUDIENCE: QSEs, TAC, and PRS Subscribers

LONG DESCRIPTION: Consistent with the directives from the Legislature requiring ancillary or reliability services to address reliability during extreme cold weather conditions and the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) order for ERCOT to develop a firm-fuel product that provides additional grid reliability and resiliency during extreme cold weather and compensates generation resources that meet a higher resiliency standard, ERCOT developed Firm Fuel Supply Service (FFSS).  ERCOT has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for FFSS for the obligation period of November 15, 2024, through March 15, 2025. FFSS Competitive Offers are due September 1, 2024. 

ACTION REQUIRED: Please visit the Firm Fuel Supply Service page of the ERCOT website for the RFP and all other documents associated with this procurement.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ERCOT will communicate awarded offers to Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) no later than September 30, 2024.
