SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Release of the December 2024 Capacity, Demand and Reserves (CDR) Report

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has posted the December 2024 Report on Capacity, Demand and Reserves (CDR) in the ERCOT Region for the years 2025-2029. The report is posted on the Resource Adequacy page of ERCOT's website.

As previously described in Market Notice M-A121624-01, ERCOT delayed the release of the CDR to allow for additional time to evaluate resource and load accounting methods used in preparing the CDR and to allow incorporation of the accounting methods introduced by NPRR1219, Methodology Revisions and New Definitions for the Report on Capacity, Demand and Reserves in the ERCOT Region , which was approved by the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) on September 26, 2024.
