SHORT DESCRIPTION: Updated NSO Part III for CPS Energy (BRAUNIG_VHB1, BRAUNIG_VHB2, and BRAUNIG_VHB3)

DAYS AFFECTED: March 2, 2025

LONG DESCRIPTION: On January 27, 2025, ERCOT received updated Notifications of Suspension of Operations (NSOs) Part III from CPS Energy for BRAUNIG_VHB1, BRAUNIG_VHB2, and BRAUNIG_VHB3.  The updated NSOs Part III indicate the standby cost as follows:

• BRAUNIG_VHB1: $2,382 per hour for 1 year, $1,500 per hour for 2 years
• BRAUNIG_VHB2: $2,558 per hours for 1 year, $1,597 per hour for 2 years
• BRAUNIG_VHB3: $3,599 per hour for 1 year, $2,246 per hour for 2 years     

Because ERCOT has already determined that these Resources are required to support ERCOT transmission system reliability for the period of suspension defined in the original NSOs (see Market Notice M-C031324-03), no further study or determination is required. 

Pursuant to ERCOT Protocol section 3.14.1.2(7), the updated Parts III of the NSOs are posted on the ERCOT website of the ERCOT Market Information List (EMIL) under Notice of Suspension of Operations.
