SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation Details of NPRR1219, Methodology Revisions and New Definitions for the Report on Capacity, Demand and Reserves in the ERCOT Region (CDR)

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: January 1, 2025

LONG DESCRIPTION: On January 1, 2025, remaining Protocol language associated with NPRR1219, Methodology Revisions and New Definitions for the Report on Capacity, Demand and Reserves in the ERCOT Region (CDR), will be implemented.

The remaining NPRR1219 language extends seasonal CDR reporting from the summer and winter seasons to all four seasons (Section 3.2.6.4, Total Capacity Estimates) and also requires reporting of unavailable Switchable Generation Resource capacity amounts for all four seasons (paragraph (2) of Section 16.5.4, Maintaining and Updating Resource Entity Information).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
