SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation of maximum Shadow Price Cap for an irresolvable constraint in SCED

DAY AFFECTED: January 23, 2025
LONG DESCRIPTION: On January 23, 2025, ERCOT is implementing a modified maximum Shadow Price Cap for a constraint that was found to be irresolvable on January 22, 2025, in accordance with the requirements established in subsection 3.6 of ERCOT Nodal Protocol Section 22 Attachment P: Methodology for Setting Maximum Shadow Prices for Network and Power Balance Constraints. The update to the maximum Shadow Price Cap will occur between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM today and be effective starting January 23, 2025. The updated maximum Shadow Price Cap will remain in effect until otherwise notified through a Market Notice. The contingency/constraint pair and updated maximum Shadow Price Cap are as follows:
