SHORT DESCRIPTION: Reminder to Submit the Notice of Probability of Return for Mothballed and Reliability Must-Run (RMR) Units

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Resource Entities with Mothballed Generation Resources or RMR Units

DAYS AFFECTED: April 1, 2025

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT Protocol Section 3.14.1.9, Generation Resource Status Updates, requires that, by April 1 and October 1 of each year, Resource Entities that own or control Mothballed Generation Resources or Reliability Must-Run (RMR) Units are required to report to ERCOT, on a unit-specific basis, the estimated lead time required for each Resource to be capable of returning to service and, in percentage terms, report probable generation capacity from each Resource that the Resource Entity expects to return to service in each Season of each of the next ten years.

ACTION REQUIRED: ERCOT requests that Resource Entities comply with the above requirement by submitting their updates by April 1, 2025 using the attached form.
