SHORT DESCRIPTION: Impact Analysis for Software error Identified in Settlement System

DAYS AFFECTED: June 10, 2023 through May 30, 2024

LONG DESCRIPTION:  This is an update to the Market Notice issued on June 6, 2024, regarding the software error identified in the Settlement System that impacted the Controllable Load Resource Ancillary Service Flag (CLRASFLAG) billing determinant used in Base Point Deviation (BPD) Settlement for Controllable Load Resources (CLRs).  See Market Notice W-A060624-01.

ERCOT has completed the analysis for the impacted Operating Days that have passed True-Up Settlements, which includes Operating Days June 10 through December 10, 2023, and has determined that none of the Operating Days have met the threshold for resettlement per paragraph (2) of Section 9.5.6, RTM Resettlement Statement. Of the 184 Operating Days analyzed, 29 Operating Days had financial impacts, with only one Operating Day having an impact greater than $400. 

ERCOT has corrected data for the impacted Operating Days beginning with December 11, 2023. These corrections will be captured on the next scheduled Settlement run.
