SHORT DESCRIPTION: Disbursement of held funds temporarily used for CRR Auction Funds

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED:  November 30, 2021

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has completed PURA Subchapter M disbursement to Market Participants owed payments due to short payments by competitive wholesale Market Participants for the Period of Emergency (Operating Days February 12 to 20, 2021).  ERCOT originally held funds from Invoice credits and certain late payments received for Invoice dates related to the Period of Emergency (e.g., payments received from payment plans) to help meet ERCOT liquidity compliance requirements due to the usage of $800 million in CRR auction funds to temporarily cover short payments. ERCOT is continuing to release these funds to Market Participants - please see the column “Held CRR Auction Fund Payment Amount” in the table below.

On November 30, 2021, ERCOT will be issuing payments, as described above, to affected Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) and Congestion Revenue Right Account Holders (CRRAHs), as follows:
