SHORT DESCRIPTION: Filing in Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC) Docket No. 52364 Regarding Entities Opting Out of Subchapter N Securitization

LONG DESCRIPTION: On November 16, 2021, ERCOT filed a Status Update Regarding Opt-Out Entities in PUC Docket No. 52364, Proceeding for Eligible Entities to File an Opt Out Pursuant to PURA  39.653(d) and for Load-Serving Entities to File Documentation of Exposure to Costs Pursuant to the Debt Obligation Order In Docket No. 52322.  ERCOT's filing can be found at this link.  The filing included a status update from ERCOT regarding the entities eligible to opt out of proceeds and uplift charges authorized by the Debt Obligation Order (DOO) entered in PUC Docket No. 52322, Application of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, Inc. for a Debt Obligation Order to Finance Uplift Balances under PURA Chapter 39, Subchapter N, and for a Good Cause Exception.

Of note, ERCOT's filing provided the following updates:

• ERCOT filed a record of the entities ERCOT has a record of having opted out as of November 15, 2021.  Any entity that intends to opt out per the terms of the DOO must ensure they have filed an opt-out notification in PUC Docket No. 52364 on or before the November 29,2021, filing deadline.
  
  
• Transmission Voltage Customers (TVC) that file an opt out notification in PUC Docket No. 52364 either confidentially or with redactions are requested to also send an unredacted copy of the filing directly to ERCOT at MPRegistration@ercot.com, with the subject line: "52364 Opt-Out Notification - [Legal Name of TVC]."  
  
  
• Retail Electric Providers (REPs) are asked to provide ERCOT with the Period of Emergency meter data for all opted-out TVCs for which the REP was the REP of Record during the Period of Emergency.  REPs should send the meter data to DataLoadingandAggregation@ercot.com, with the following the subject line: "52364 - TVC OptOut Meter Data - [Legal Name of REP/DUNS Number]," by December 1, 2021.

ACTION REQUIRED:  Eligible entities that intend to opt out per the terms of the DOO should ensure they have filed a complete opt-out notification in PUC Docket No. 52364 on or before November 29, 2021. REPs are encouraged to forward this notice to their TVCs and to remind them of the November 29, 2021, deadline.
