AEP: Statistics provided by Year

2005 -- 74296 safety-nets received.  439 were true safety nets.  For the remaining 73857 the 814_16 EDI transaction was received before the safety-net was worked.

2004 -- 72532 safety-nets received. 423 were true safety-nets.

CNP: Statistics provided for Q4 05

Oct 05 -- 2817

Nov 05 -- 1270

Dec 05 -- 9614

TXUED: Statistics provided for Q4 05

Approximately 1000/month excluding the 4000 safety-nets sent the week of the ERCOT outage

AI: Review Safety Net procedures in the Retail Market Guide to see if there is anything documented that may be out of date, causing some of these high numbers

CRs will review their safety-net procedures to determine if process follows when a true safety-net should be used.

ERCOT Updates

ERCOT SIR:  Reject 814_18 Deletes sent with ‘Not Used’ segments.  ERCOT currently receives 814_18s with these segments sent.  Now causing issues within TIBCO.  Will be writing a SIR to enforce the 814_18 IG and reject the 814_18s sent with this segment.  SIR and Implementation Date will be provided

650_01 IG Update: Mandatory YNQ02 data element was missing from the YNQ Premium Disconnect Segment.  It’s a required data element per ANSI.  Updated and reposted guide.
