The Public Utility Commission of Texas

The Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) regulates the state's electric, telecommunication, and water and sewer utilities, implements respective legislation, and offers customer assistance in resolving consumer complaints. With the adoption of Senate Bill 2 from the 87th Texas Legislature, PUCT approval is required for ERCOT rules. PUCT meetings that involve ERCOT rule review, discussion, revisions, and/or approval are listed below.
