Proposed Changes to CDR and Deep Dive into the SARA

• Overview of Discussion and Action Items following Woodfin presentation to the ERCOT BOD (Sept. 20, 2011) titled Resource Adequacy Assessment Methodology Improvements.
• Is proposed timing of CDR and SARA acceptable?
• Review and discussion of proposed CDR changes contained in slides 4 and 5 of Board presentation.
• Should the SARA be a monthly assessment?
• What assumptions will be made in SARA for wind and other renewables?
• Are EEA risk and capacity insufficiency risk appropriate measures for reporting SARA results?
• Base, medium and high scenarios for SARA?
• GATF discussion of SARA format in slide 10 of Board presentation?
• Would a graph of SARA results be helpful when reporting SARA results (H. Durrwachter)
• Discussion of changes that may need to be made to the planning guides based on CDR changes and SARA implementation.
