Antitrust Admonition

ERCOT strictly prohibits market participants and their employees who are participating in ERCOT activities from using their participation in ERCOT activities as a forum for engaging in practices or communications that violate the antitrust laws.  The ERCOT Board has approved guidelines for members of ERCOT Committees, subcommittees and working Groups to be reviewed and followed by each market participant attending ERCOT meetings.

a)  WGRPP Forecast process improvements update on deploying the XML format.

5.

Optimal procurement of Ancillary Services assignment from TAC

TAC Motion: TAC endorse the proposed ERCOT Methodology for Determining Ancillary Service Requirements; and request that the TAC chair assign WMS the task of exploring cost allocation of incremental Ancillary Service, and charge ROS to review opportunities to optimize the requirement of incremental Ancillary Service; and that recommendations be presented for TAC consideration at the January 2009

a)  Opportunities to optimize reassigned to QMWG

b)  Data requested from ERCOT on unloaded capacity on line by hour for each month to determine if there is normally sufficient capacity on line to not need NSRS purchased 24 hours
