 ANTITRUST ADMONITION

ERCOT strictly prohibits market participants and their employees who are participating in ERCOT activities from using their participation in ERCOT activities as a forum for engaging in practices or communications that violate the antitrust laws.  The ERCOT Board has approved guidelines for members of ERCOT Committees, subcommittees and working Groups to be reviewed and followed by each market participant attending ERCOT meetings.

 Review of November 2006 meeting notes and action items to ensure the agenda is complete.

188 - Generating Facility Model Validation for Conformance with NERC Field Test Standards:  This revision proposes to include new subsections for Generating Unit Model Validation requirements made necessary by virtue of ERCOT participation in the NERC Field Test Standards. These subsections are being proposed to address the requirements listed in the NERC Field Test Standards (MOD-026-1 ?Verification of Models and Data for Generator Excitation System Functions? and MOD-027-1 ?Verification of Generator Unit Frequency Response?).  These subsections are patterned after the current Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) Generating Unit Model Validation Policy.
