Market Credit Working Group

The Market Credit Working Group (MCWG) provides the Wholesale Markets Subcommittee (WMS) with input and recommendations on issues of credit risk management, including but not limited to the following:

  • Credit risk mitigation
  • Credit impact of potential ERCOT Protocol or market design changes
  • Other areas of implementing best practice credit standards either at the direction on WMS or through review performed by MCWG for consideration by WMS
