Description: | This Nodal Operating Guide Revision Request (NOGRR) removes the regulation reporting requirements from the Operating Guides. |
Reason: | North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Reliability Standard EOP-004-2 -- Event Reporting, effective 1/1/2014, mandates organizations to have their own reporting plan that addresses notification of NERC, Texas Reliability Entity (Texas RE), and ERCOT. It is assumed that these individual reporting plans will also address Department of Energy (DOE) obligations and NERC Event Analysis reporting as well. Ensuring consistency between the Operating Guides and individual plans appears unnecessarily burdensome, and may introduce compliance risks due to confusion. |
