| Description: | This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) permits ERCOT to provide ERCOT Critical Energy Infrastructure Information (ECEII) or Protected Information materials to a vendor or prospective vendor of ERCOT without a pre-notice of the provision of ECEII materials to a vendor or prospective vendor of a Market Participant if the vendor or prospective vendor has executed an appropriate confidentiality agreement. Additionally, this NPRR adds a definition of ERCOT Research and Innovation (R&I) and ERCOT R&I Partner to clarify notice requirements prior to those entities receiving Protected Information from ERCOT. This NPRR also adds Market Notices as an appropriate method of providing notice under the Protocols, does away with the antiquated requirement that notice sent by email of fax must be followed up with mailed notice or hand delivery, and clarifies who is required to receive notice and a Market Participant’s responsibility to subscribe for applicable Market Notice distribution lists. |
