Description: | This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) clarifies that Section 3.15 should be applied to require ERCOT to independently evaluate the Reactive Power requirements of Generation Resources excluding the effects of co-located retail load. As such, any Generation Resources that meet the requirements of the Protocols as standalone Generation Resources shall not have additional Reactive Power requirements imposed as a result of co-locating with load. Further, the language clarifies that the onsite load must also comply with the power factor requirements for retail Customers in the applicable tariff for retail delivery service. |
