Background

Status: Approved
Date Posted: Feb 23, 2011

Urgent: Yes
Sections: 3.2.2, 3.2.3, 3.12, 4.2.2, 4.2.3, 4.2.3.1, 5.3, 6.3.2, 6.5.7.1.13, 6.5.9.2, 6.5.9.3.3, 9.17.1
Description: This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) changes the security classification to "Public" for extracts/reports that are currently classified in the Nodal Protocols as "Secure"; and suspends the posting of State Estimator Load Reports that reveal individual Load data.
Reason: The market is looking for the listed extracts/reports to be posted publicly to align them with previously posted zonal market reports, as well as allow data to be accessible without a Digital Certificate for affected Entities to conduct business. Entities without Digital Certificates that were previously users of data in the zonal market no longer have access to the data in the Nodal market since the data is being posted to the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area. This NPRR will allow certain data to be accessible without a Digital Certificate and for affected Entities to conduct business.
