Background

Status: Approved
Date Posted: May 2, 2012
Sponsor: ERCOT
Urgent: No
Sections: 3.11.2
Description: This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) removes the consumer benefit test from the ERCOT planning criteria consistent with the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) Project 39537, Rulemaking to Implement HB 971, Relating to Economic Criteria for a Certificate of Convenience and Necessity for an Electric Transmission Project.
Reason: PUCT Project 39537 removed the consumer benefit test from P.U.C. Subst. R. 25.101, Certification Criteria, and therefore should be removed from the ERCOT planning criteria for consistency.
