Urgent: | No |
Sections: | 6.5.9.1 |
Description: | This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) deletes Protocol language that is inconsistent with North American Electric Reliability (NERC) Reliability Standards. |
Reason: | The language in paragraph (3) of Section 6.5.9.1 is inconsistent with Attachment 1-EOP-002-2.1, Energy Emergency Alerts, of NERC Standard EOP-002-3, Capacity and Energy Emergencies, which outlines the appropriate actions ERCOT should take in each level of an Energy Emergency Alert (EEA). The NERC Reliability Standards do not allow ERCOT to relax Operating Limits during an Emergency Condition. |
