Description: This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) proposes that a seasonally operating Resource Entity’s 15 day Notification requirement (when returning to service early, or suspending operations later) be based on the Seasonal Operation Period designated by the Resource Entity in its Notification of Suspension of Operations. Additional revisions correct references to Part III of Section 22, Attachment E, Notification of Suspension of Operations.
Reason: The current Protocols require Notification if a seasonally operating Resource Entity plans to return to service on dates other than June 1 or continue operating past September 30. This NPRR proposes that a Resource Entity would only need to provide the 15 day Notification if it intends to begin or suspend its Seasonal Operation Period on a date other than the date designated by the Resource Entity in its Notification of Suspension of Operations. Additional revisions are proposed to correct references to Part III of Section 22, Attachment E, that were not included in NPRR514, Seasonal Generation Resource.
