Background
Status: | Approved |

Date Posted: | Nov 6, 2013 |
Sponsor: | ERCOT |
Urgent: | Yes |
Sections: | 5.5.2, 5.7.6 |
Description: | This NPRR deletes the grey box in Section 5.7.6 that would remove the Reliability Unit Commitment (RUC) Decommitment Charge upon implementation of NPRR416; and clarifies Settlement treatment of RUC-Committed blocks that span an Operating Day and are opted out. |
Reason: | Section 5.7.6 was unintentionally deleted as part of NPRR416. The language in Section 5.7.6 provides the mechanism to uplift the charges to the Load Serving Entity (LSE) based on Load Ratio Share (LRS) when ERCOT must pay a Resource, as described in Section 5.7.3, Payment When ERCOT Decommits a QSE-Committed Resource. |
