Background

Status: Approved
Date Posted: Aug 14, 2012
Sponsor: ERCOT
Urgent: No
Sections: 1.2.1, 1.2.4.5, 1.2.4.8, 1.2.4.10, 1.2.4.11, 1.2.4.12
Description: This Planning Guide Revision Request (PGRR) aligns the Planning Guide with Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 454 (approved by the ERCOT Board on July 17, 2012), which removed language regarding the Unfunded Project List; aligns the Planning Guide with the Protocols by requiring ERCOT’s opinion in the TAC Report; modifies the scope of the Administrative PGRR definition to include revisions for the purpose of maintaining consistency between Section 1.2.1 and Protocol Section 21, Revision Request Process; and includes administrative alignment changes.
Reason: Alignment with the Protocols by removing language regarding the Unfunded Project List; including ERCOT’s opinion in TAC Reports; and allowing PGRRs that are for the purpose of alignment with Protocol Section 21 to proceed as Administrative PGRRs, significantly decreasing the amount of work and meeting time that must be devoted to these routine PGRRs.
