Description: | ERCOT presently procures an 1800 MW Mulligan and RPRS using the same process. This revision separates out the load forecast uncertainty procurement process from the RPRS procurement. Capacity for Load Forecast Uncertainty is procured from the Ancillary Services markets. |
Reason: | ERCOT presently procures an 1800 MW Mulligan and RPRS using the same process. A more proper process is to separate the two procurements and handle each one separately. There are several assumptions and procedures that ERCOT has incorporated into the present process that are significantly affecting both the short term and long term markets. This revision separates out two different procurement processes. |
