Add GISB EDM (version 1.6) functionality to the existing Message Broker system implemented during phase 1 of the FTP Replacement project.
Reason:
Several Market Participants that currently use GISB EDM for point-point (direct) transactions prefer to manage/maintain only one transfer solution, GISB EDM. Currently some Market Participants require two transport systems; FTP for communicating with ERCOT and GISB EDM for communicating with other Market Participants.
Allowing Market Participants to use GISB EDM to exchange EDI data with ERCOT would enable them to eliminate costs associated with managing/maintaining an FTP solution.
