Inconsistency in the interpretation and use of the 824 reject code 'TRC - Tariff Rate Code Mismatch'
Next Step:
An acceptable use of the TRC reject reason would be if the dollar amount provided on the SAC is different from what the TDSPs tariff says they can charge.
The gray box description in the TRC reject code indicates that it will only be used when the rate code in the SAC04 does not match the TDSP tariff.

Description:
There is inconsistency in the interpretation and use of the 824 reject code "TRC - Tariff Rate Code Mismatch"
Reason:
Market Impact: With the implementation of V2.1, CRs intend to use the TRC reject reason when the rate code that exists in their system is different from what the TDSP sent on the 810, however, just because there is a discrepancy does not mean that the TDSP will change the rate code. This creates the need for manual intervention between the TDSP and the CR to determine what the right rate code is.
Would like TX SET to explore how the market should handle the issue of Rate Class discrepancies.
