Follow-up answers/discussion on this will be scheduled for the April 2007 meeting. Green Mountain and Reliant stated they had no issues with the 6-7 character length for meter readings and number of dials for a meter. All other CRs in attendance and ERCOT will verify and provide information at the April meeting.

Description:
Can ERCOT & CRs handle a meter number of 6 positions (without decimal) and 7 positions (with the decimal)? Are there any limitations in the TX SET transactions that would prohibit or restrict a 6, 7 or greater position meter readings/number of dials?
Reason:
These questions are being asked of Market Participants and ERCOT to determine if there are any negative system impacts to companies receiving any of the these transactions that pertain to meter readings and/or number of dials on a meter that is greater than 5 positions.
