Provide additional meter information from the TDSP to identify the presence of a meter used for Master Metering
Next Step:
This issue will be closed due to determination that the AMI/AMR designation will not be implemented. A new issue can opened if someone wants to address Master Meter separately.

TX SET will take up this issue at a future meeting in conjunction with all other AMIT requirements. Expectation is that a TX SET sub-group will be convened to dedicate effort towards the AMIT requirements.
Texas SET will wait for the Retail Transaction Project 5 to complete to get deliverables from AMIT on what changes are needed for Retail Transactions. TX SET members were encouraged to participate in the Advanced Metering Implementation Team Workshops, especially Project 5 Retail Transactions to support AMS.
Substantial discussion of whether we need to identify limited vs. full functionality. No agreement on whether this level of detail is required since this data will be available on the TDSP web portals. There was general agreement on the concept of having codes to identify AMR meters and Master Meters. It was suggested that no change control yet for these codes and that TX SET wait until further development of Retail Transaction changes are identified by the AMIT project.

Description:
Provide additional meter information from the TDSP to identify the presence of a meter used for Master Metering, a meter that is AMR / AMI capable, or is Master Metered with an AMR meter
Reason:
This information would benefit the TDSP’s and CR’s in providing additional information about the metering and the premise. This new code would provide CR’s and TDSP’s with visibility of the Master Metered accounts that could be evaluated prior to disconnect or MVO request, and provide information to identify the presence of AMR meters.
