Planning Reserve Margin Analysis
The ERCOT Board of Directors has established a minimum reserve margin of 13.75 percent of peak electricity demand to cover electricity demand or generation plant outages that exceed expectations. This section consists of reports that describe the methodology and results of studies that help the Board determine the reserve margin.
